Seasoned Hardwood Logs Dumpy Bag

Our logs for sale are two year seasoned, our hardwood firewood logs are a mixture of Ash, Birch, Beech and Sycamore they are truly sustainable having been sourced from woodland on our own farm.  After felling, the timber is stacked and left to dry out for at least  two years, the logs are then processed and placed in the dumpy bags ready for sale. After two years of natural drying the typical moisture  content of the Ash and Sycamore is 15-20%,  at this moisture you can be sure that your wood will  readily burn,  generating little smoke. 

We will deliver your logs within seven days (usually sooner). We will contact you the day before by phone or text with a delivery time.

Delivery is free up to 30 miles from our depot which covers the majority of YO,HG and LS postcodes.

From 30.1 miles to 40 miles £7.50 surcharge from 40.1 miles to 50 miles £15.00 surcharge over 50 miles £35.00 surcharge.

All deliveries are made by our own drivers using a transit flatbed dropside van which has a small crane mounted on the rear of the vehicle.

DUMPY BAGS The driver carries a trolley fitted with castor wheels to move the bag to the garage or log store.

BARROW BAGS The driver uses a sack barrow to move the bags to the garage or log store.

CRATES The driver uses a pallet truck to move the crates to the garage or log store.

N.B. All the above can only be carried out if the surface is hard and flat, the driver will not be able to move the bags or crates over gravel or grass.
